She's Nuts! AOC Claims Abortion Is A Religious Right
In a video broadcast online, New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a fool of herself by saying that those who practice religions other than Christianity "are able to have an abortion according to their faith."
AOC has been the center of media attention for some time now, and for all the wrong reasons. While she has managed to gain some support from her progressive views, it’s clear that she is not a reliable source of information and her policies are often misguided. One of the biggest issues with AOC is her tendency to make bold statements that lack any real evidence. For example, she recently claimed that the world will end in 12 years if we don’t take drastic measures to combat climate change. Not only is this claim untrue, but it’s also irresponsible to make such a statement without providing any scientific evidence to back it up.
This new whopper, Ocasio-Cortez claimed that her “Jewish brothers and sisters” are able to obtain abortions, as well as people who belong to faiths that aren't "fundamentalist Christian." She said that by getting an abortion, they are "exercising their faith."
“There are so many faiths that do not have the same definition of life as fundamentalist Christians. And so, what about their right? What about their right to exercise their faith?” she said in the video.

Dead wrong AOC. One unhinged rabbi made a pro-life comment and AOC is just running with it. The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America released the following statement in response to the Supreme Courts decision:
"We cannot support absolute bans on abortion—at any time point in pregnancy—that would not allow access to abortion in lifesaving situations. Similarly, we cannot support legislation that does not limit abortion to situations in which medical (including mental health) professionals affirm that carrying the pregnancy to term poses real risk to the life of the mother."
While the OJC didn't condemn abortions completely it's not viewed as a 'religious right'. In fact, they oppose abortion in instances where the mother's life is not at risk. Generally, most religions oppose abortions aside for Satanists who do view it as a ' religious right'.
